water filter

ok we will be going full timeing startting dec 28 this yr and we need to know what kind of water filter will work we have a 10 inch water filter canster and what kind of filter do we use for most water thru out the united states

  • We use the charcoal filters that screw on to the bib. When we were on well we used the same except larger under the sink.
    The only place DW wouldn't drink the water from the tap was Florida..... it was too warm.
  • I use the screw on hose type of filter that you can order online or find at Camping World. This filters the water before it gets in to the coach. Then, for water we use for cooking, drinking, and for the dog, we use the large filter that is under the sink. This seems to work fine no matter where we are in the country.
  • We have a triple filter system on board but the filters are expensive. I've found by putting a whole house canister with the cheap charcoal filter at the CG spigot, the on board filters last much longer. We don't use bottled water....Dennis

    Same here. Does a pretty good (not perfect) job of removing bad taste from water and seems to filter well enough.
