My thought on this is that you would only use it out west on long hill climbs. If I stayed in the NE or south I would not need it. But after following this thread I was thinking of a low cost design. My neighbor was having a tag sale and he gave me about 20 ft of 1/8 in plastic tubing on Sunday. My thought was to connect it to the outside hose and run the tubing up to the radiator with a 12v NC water valve. I was reading an some bus conversion forums that the valve has to be mounted lower than the water spray so as it not trap air. As someone already suggested melt small holes every 2 ins in the tubing with a paper clip and tie wrap tubing with sealed end across the front of the AC condenser. A momentary switch would then be wired from the dash to the water valve. When required the outside shower head would be removed and screwed into the tubing in the wet bay. I tried the tubing at the shower head and it sent a stream of water about 20 ft some the house pump is strong enough. Any thoughts or advice on the water valve?
