Water pump not operating

Old-Biscuit, neither husband nor I feel comfortable disassembling things. Wish we did. May nee to wait until we get to,our destination and seek professional help. Thanks for your input.

Try switching this valve to city. When this valve is on fresh water tank, the pump is pumping from the tank and back into the tank. The fresh water position is to fill the fresh tank when hooked to shore water.

Those things suppose to be self-priming, but sometimes on long RV plumbing it is not so easy.
I would make sure I have water in the tank, start the pump and connect shop vac to open shower valve.

if you hear it running you want to see water?

Did you locate 'pump controller' and test it?

Some water pumps have an inline fuse right by the pump itself as well as an inline filter.

These things are darn near bullet proof and many are thrown out for no good reason. They come apart very easily, both with the main part of the pump and also the pressure switch. Usually if you'll just clean them up inside and reassemble with some Vaseline, everywhere it makes contact and tighten all the screws down evenly, you're good to go.
