water stains

My bounder has some stains on the ceiling from water leaks.I have redone the roof so the leak problem is solved.I have no soft spots .
Has anyone found a way to clean or remove the stains.
My ceiling is not wood but basically a ceiling carpet/cloth (i quess) sorry dont know correct terminology.

I have the carpet removed and now is the best time for me to clean ceilings.
  • I have used Oxy Clean on ceiling water stains with great results. But I would caution spraying directly on to the ceiling. I sprayed it on a clean white rag and wiped and the stain just disappeared. The Mold Armor posted by rockhillmanor looks like an interesting product. My pick up a bottle to have around next trip to HD
  • Mold Armor
    'Mildew stain remover plus blocker'

BEST stuff EVER! I've thrown out every other single cleaner for inside or out for the RV and use only this product. Find it at Home Depot.

  • I like Oxyclean, it's worked for about every thing I've tried it on.
  • I use 50/50 Hydrogen Boraxide and Water. Dampen spots with solution or use a spray bottle and let sit for about 10 minutes and tap dry with clean cloth. Works really great and does not smell.
  • For the carpet looking ceiling, an rv sales manger told me they use water and bleach mixed 50/50. Spray it on and leave it.

I've never tried this, but if you do be sure to cover anything that may be hurt by bleach.
