water tank fill valve leaking?
I've been on the road for over 3 months and will not arrive home to determine my problem for another week. Inviting suggestions for me to think over as how to attack this problem. Noticed about 2 week...

Water could also be leaking back through the water pump check valve. Try disconnecting the inlet side of the pump (with the pump off) and see if there's any seepage from the outlet side. The inlet piping from the tank will leak of course, so be prepared to temporarily plug it.
