- doc_brownExplorerHad the front cap protectant removed and replaced. After 12 years its was cracking. What an ordeal! Glad I didn't try to do it. Humidifying unit used not a heat gun. Took two workers 7 hrs to remove the film and adhesive. The adhesive was the most time consuming. Took only 4 hrs to install.
- Jim_NormanExplorerPutting the slides out and turning on the heat. Got to put the big red bow up on the windshield, we sort-a-kind-a made it our Christmas Present. No one in the family knows we bought it so tomorrow morning just might be a bit of an interesting time.
- turbojimmyExplorerFinally fixed the generator. It started misbehaving back in June of this year. It was still running poorly after rebuilding the carb. Hunting, backfiring and stalling under a load. Someone suggested points and condenser. Runs like new now - best since I've owned it.
- malexanderExplorerChecked to make sure the ceramic heaters in the wet bays were still on (no tripped breakers). And checked inside to see that the heaters were still doing their thing.
I try to do this on, at least, a weekly basis. The MH stays parked beside the house, plugged in. - GreyghostExplorerI had 4 new Lifeline 6ct batteries installed and a 250 watt solar panel added which gives me a total of 750 watts of solar. In addition we added an additional 25Amp charge controller. We'll test it out over the next 2 weeks.
- KidooExplorerGot a wheel seal replaced on the rear at Boudreaux Truck repair Beaumont Texas. Back on the road on my way to Mexico!
- Canadian_RainbiExplorerWe have done that a couple of times. We have a propane cook top in our stick house but we only need to have the tank filled every couple of years! We do take that opportunity though to move the rig down to the house and have it topped up.
- hankoExplorerI thought about mine in the barn not getting snowed on
- turbojimmyExplorerWas having some propane added to my underground tank at my stick-n-bricks home. The guy started asking me about the Allegro. I told him all about it...and then it occurred to me that maybe this guy can fill the empty tank on the Allegro, too. It's a pain to drive it somewhere to have it filled, and fewer and fewer places fill it these days. So I asked, and he filled it! Took 22 gallons. Now I have heat for when the kids camp out in there.
- Jim_NormanExplorerOK, not really the motorhome, but the toad. Dead battery, 3 years on a Duralast Gold, should have gone a couple more. AutoZone made good, no charge replacement. Thank you.
