- tyoungsExplorerJust put the baby away before Thanksgiving but not until we had new fireplace installed:

Had the work done at Elkhart Sales and Service - great job and reasonable price. Very happy with the results. I picked the unit based on the dimensions of the cabinet that was there (previously was a shallow 2 door cabinet). Ordered the Dimplex model (DFR2651L) that fit from Home Depot on-line (best pricing) and had it drop shipped to Elkhart S&S directly. This unit uses LED lighting for "fire", has remote control, and will heat 400 sq ft per specs. Only down side is that I have to wait till next season to enjoy! - AZAmmochiefExplorerI made adjustments to my sway bars, front and back, to help cut down the body roll. An amazing change that works well. I also found a cracked weld on the front cap support frame which is being fixed now.
- TrackrigExplorer IIAfter almost locking ourselves out of the MH, went to a locksmith to get two extra sets of keys made. One will stay in the Jeep permanently. For the other set, I also bought a lock box which is close to the types realtors put on house doors. This one will be bolted back in one of the compartments that don't lock.
Bill - JimExplorerI worked out how to restring and reinstall my 4 string day/nite shades in the LR on two windows. Hard part was figuring how in the heck you do the final tensioning.
- johnhicksExplorerGot my awning ratchet fixed. Actually it was a rebuilt end from Affordable RV in Dunnellon for the princely sum of $50.
- RLS7201Explorer III installed LED head lights in the ol 95 Bounder last week.
Then I took the MH to a dark parking lot and aimed them.
They light up the road with out getting in on coming traffics eyes.
I just hate it when people change their headlight and don't get them aimed properly! They don't do the driver any good when the shine in my eyes.
Richard - Dutch_12078Explorer IIII took the motorhome to the local LP vendor and added 20 gallons to the main tank and had the auxiliary 30lb cylinder filled. When I came back, I drained the tanks and blew out the water lines since we moved into our NY cottage this morning. I'll be working on several interior motorhome projects until we leave for Florida in early January.

I would like to do that as well but I cannot find an affordable US option.
Didn't mean any disrespect I was just say I would rather have any work on my rig done here in the U.S sorry if I offended you.
The written word is a funny thing. I have re-read my post over and over again and cannot figure out how what I said made you think I thought you meant any form of disrespect. I understood what you said and I said I just hadn't been able to find an affordable option.
Sorry for any misunderstanding.
Sorry I put this on the wrong thread. - Scott___JillExplorer

What did I do today? Winterized. Just back form a 1950 mile trip and the weather says it will be COLD, so did the deed.

We have been without a camera for more years than I can remember. Just learned to live without it rather than pay the $1000+ to replace it.
I found about a company called rvcams.com and for less than $600 I now have a full color day/night/audio camera setup in my coach. If you are interested I am starting a thread about what I did separately. It's all good and their support was almost as good as the support I used to provide to my customers! 5 stars!
