Finally got the Michelin XZA3+ 16 ply tires in stock (275/80 R22.5 LRH). I got (6) tires for $3723 through FMCA Program with date codes of "2515" for all of them. Got covers for my investment tires too! I sold the take-off almost 8 year old cracking TOYO tires for $296. Expensive transaction, but I got the tires I wanted!
Wow! that is nine hundred dollars more then the previous post and yours are smaller tires. Michelins that I had lasted five years and the cracks were bad on the side walls. If you got seven years before the Toyo's showed signs of cracks, I think I would have bought Toyo's again. - robertbenitaExplorerFinally got the Michelin XZA3+ 16 ply tires in stock (275/80 R22.5 LRH). Although I didn't do the work (just paid for it) I had six new tires installed yesterday.

What brand did you go with?
Mike,
I am tired of the Michelin sidewall cracking issues so based on my research I was going with Hankook AH-12's. The tire dealer told me to call him a week before I was ready to install so he could get the latest date code possible. When I called he informed me that Bridgestone was having a pretty good sale (ended the last day in June) and recommended Bridgestone R283 Ecopia. They sell a lot of large truck and RV tires and were knowledgeable when answering all of my questions, so I took his advice. I got six 295/75R22.5's (16 ply) that were <2 months old for $2891.24 out the door. So far I've only driven a few miles around town so I can't speak about the any changes in handling, but I believe they will work out and it looks like the price was pretty good.

- BigdogExplorerFired it up a week ago to take it in to find out why it had been overheating going down to Cougar and then back home. Wouldn't start, just blew out white smoke and sounded like it was flooded. Finally got it started the next AM, but after starting it had a very metallic squeal and what looked like the alternator stopped turning and the fan belt popped. Mech said to bring it in anyway. Turned out to be the A/Ccompressor that had frozen.OOppss. Checked on it today and they're waiting for parts. Told me that it took over a day just to pull the compressor and find the dryer. The bolts on the compressor were hard to get at and were all rusted and the dryer was up over the top of the gennie under the floor. Missed camping at Fort Worden for seven days over the 4th and we've had those res since July 5th of last year, but I got next years res on the 1st of this July. Got another trip coming up next thursday to Paterson Wa to go on a special wine tasting tour, but have to wait till next week to see if we're taking the MH. Bummer.:?
- MattINWExplorerGave it an oil change, 40 miles later and I can still hardly see the oil on the dipstick it's so clean, geez!
Windshield washer pump stopped working, replacement pump was only $17. Good as new!
Bad news, ordered a replacement grey water holding tank, $325, plus $125 shipping. Ugh! - jplante4Explorer IIPut tint film on the side windows in the front of the MH and a foot down on the windshield. Didn't really like how it came out (first time doing this ever). I think I'll live with it until I get to Fla and have it done professionally down there. I'll bet there are hundreds or window tinting places there.
