- wolfe10Explorerctpres,
Suggestion: 15 minutes, even if under more than 50% load is not enough (per Onan, etc). Remember, you want to run the engine/generator long enough and under enough of a load to get the OIL, not just coolant up to temperature.
Run it for a minimum of 30 minutes with A/C's and/or heaters equaling at least 50% load. - ctpresExplorerBlew a 20 amp fuse installing GPS tracking module. Realtime tracking good to 20 foot. Installed power cord reel and exercised generator for 15 minutes.

I keep one of these in the RV for those hard to reach plumping fittings:

- SuzzeeeQ2012Explorerwe put in speakers that we bought at Costco. The TV sounds much better now :) NOt to mention, if we're in a place we can do this, we're puttting in a longer wire so we can take the speaker outside :B
We're securing the door between the living area, bathroom and bedroom so it is closed when we're moving. It will also be warmer while we're driving. I want a lock on it, so grandkids can't come in while I"m using the bathroom.
We bought a little tv to replace the one in the wood box on the left top (Endeavor's always seem to have this..the older ones anyway)and put it on a bracket that we can move out of the way, and use the wood cabinet for videos etc.
oh yeah. forgot the BIGGEST JOB. Husband replaced the faucet in the kitchen that was leaking. HORRIBLE and i'll make him call someone in to fix it if it ever happens again. He could barely fit in the space underneath, and was cussing and swearing the whole time lol and that's not like him to get frustrated. - WTD44ExplorerRe-applied Marine Grease to the toilet seal so it would hold water in the bowl. Yep, I know I can buy a repair kit but the grease lasts for 2 to 3 months of constant use. If I remove the toilet to rejuvinate it and something goes wrong, my DW will kill me if she has to walk to the park johns in the middle of the night.
- PatStabExplorerCoach is in garage for now, but after Christmas taking off to Houston for
a month. I do have some things to take care of while there and I hope its
not going to be to cold. Then home for 3 weeks while hubby is home on turnaround. Then we are heading to Florida for a month, possibly 2. DD and I can hardly wait. I will have to dewinterize and do it again then dewinterize again but better then everything freezing up. I worry that Feb could be very bad weather to go back to Indiana and leave again. Maybe I will get lucky. - BigdogExplorerTook the MH in after coming back from Portland with the warm fridge. They took a look at it and found the igniter had shorted out and so after $35 for the part,$8 for o'nite shipping and 1/2 hour labor for a total of $80,I now have a fully functioning fridge. Got the new air filter yesterday and installed it today in 30 degree temps, fired it up and NO grey smoke at startup and an extremely small amount of blowby anfd it really sounds different.I can't believe how dirty the old one was. I am going to order a couple of them to keep on hand and change every year, regardless of mileage.I got a blem on Ebay for $79 plus shipping and could find nothing wrong with it. It took under an hour 'cuz it was a bear trying to get the metal part of the intake tube into the rubber collar on the filter case in 30 degree temp. Just a little stiff.
Got fuel at Flying J in Tumwater on the way down to Portland at $2.51 a gallon with my Good Sam discount and at Safeway after I got home at $2.35. Now I'm Good for several short trips this next couple of months, the next being to Port Townsend for the Christmas lighting with the 3 y/o GD. - dons2346ExplorerBought 62 gallons of diesel at $2.96/gal and drove the coach 381 miles
- Canadian_RainbiExplorerUpdate to this post.
The "Re-manufactured" Prosine 2.0 purchased on E-Bay arrived Friday, the mobile tech arrived this morning and installed it. He left me to set all the parameters but at least I have battery charging again. I'll get to the advanced settings tomorrow or Thursday.
