- pianotunaNomad IIIChanged the oil on the Yamaha 3000 iSEB for the first time. It was black as sin after 20 hours of run time.
- taylorgsoExplorerFinally got Ham radio (2m/440) installed in the Forest River Solera. Easy installation - mounted antenna on Hood lip, and it was simple to run coax through grommet in firewall. The battery is under drivers floorboard, so connecting power was a snap. Works great... I haven't been on the air much in years, so I've found there's a lot of new stuff out there. ??
- woodworker414Explorercheck the air in the car and C. The car had two tires a little low. The C was just fine.

Bill - ericsmith32ExplorerThe list seems endless...
Had a propane leak in one of the lines. Made it short so had to splice into another copper line. Flared everything and no leaks not sure on the long term. May replace everything with flexible lines.
Hooked up a 400w inverter. Since everything is in back didn't have enough heavy gauge wire so put it back by the bed. Now just need to run 2 lines one to the dinette and eventually to another bedroom.
Flushed the water heater out with vinegar.. smelled like the black tank. Not much came out may have to flush with bleach again.
Crawling under the RV it's good to know that building quality hasn't changed since at least 1992. Finding wires that should of been ran elsewhere and starting to pinch, the gas line rubbing up against the generator, water lines.. well the list is endless. Thankfully I'd rather be RVing so guess it's a small price to pay. - moose888ExplorerWashed the RV today planning the next trip to North Caroline to see family . Im still trying to straighten a door gasket that has been giving me a problem . With this heat wave I put 1" pipe insulation between the door seal and the frame to bend it out to see if it will reshape it's self. I guess at this point anything is worth a try.
- woodworker414ExplorerGetting ready to leave to go to The Home Depot for the Zep Wet Look floor finish. I am going to do this to the c, this summer. Getting all the spplies on hand before I start. The local Lowes does not carry Red Max Pro 3 anymore.
Now have to come up with a way to get to the center of the cabover above the windshield. My arms aren't long enough.:)
What did you do to reach the center of the cabover to clean and apply the finish when doing a project like this?
I guess some kind of scaffold would work. Now to come up with a scaffold.
Thanks
Bill - pianotunaNomad IIIStarted the Yamaha 3000 iSEB for the first time. Wow is it ever quiet!
- taylorgsoExplorerDrove the Soiera to the CAT scale. With Fuel, Fresh Water, and Propane tanks full, and rig stocked and ready to go, I was 170# overweight. Yikes... gotta get rid of some toys!
- TripalotExplorerNo repairs - just dreaming about it - only 2 more sleeps till we bring our new Regency home and start loading it up and finding out if all works like it is suppose to.
- woodworker414ExplorerWell the chore list just got longer. Real long. I was refilling the fresh water tank yesterday afternoon. And happen to look at the side of the coach and thought it needs a bath. Then it dawned on me, WHEREIS THE SHINE, GONE, GONE, GONE. I faithfully waxed it at least 2x's a year. The last wax job from last fall was gone. So no more wax, for me. Going to do the Red Max Pro process this summer, after a few projects on the house. I want my shine back.
