- bob_and_donnaExplorerfound the vent covers damage from hail on the last trip. buying one a week of the upgraded style. so far 2 down 1 to go. they were only 3 years old and really thin and deteriorated.
- Desert_CaptainExplorer IIII finally broke down and bought a set of tire covers. Most of the year our 24' C is parked between a large fiver to the east and and 42' Tag axle Class A on the west. This arrangement keeps the rig in "the valley of shade" for most of the year. This is our first full Tucson summer for the coach and now both of my neighbors, snowbirds, have flown back to their respective nests leaving our coach out in the sun. :E
It is a pain to crawl down and reach behind the wheels, especially the dually's but once the bungy cord is attached the wind cannot blow them away and they keep the sun off of my new Michelins. I opened the hatches that are protected by the Max Air covers so we get decent air flow through the coach.
I'm so glad we have a solid fiberglass roof and we use the coach a couple of times a month (we just returned on June 30th from a 2 month cross country trip), and are headed back up to the White Mountains next week. I check on the rig at least once a week and roll out the awning to dry from the frequent Monsoon thunderstorms... which only takes about 15 minutes.
:C - KristinUExplorerDropping it off to have the seams re-sealed...decided to take the lazy way out and pay someone to remove the old stuff.
- kendall69ExplorerEven though I only have 6K miles on it I took it in for an alignment, sure enough it was out. Alignment guy said bring it in with 3/4 tank full of water and 1/2 tank fuel and he aligned to those specs.
I suggest everyone who buys a coach new drive straight to the alignment center or force the dealer to do it before you pick it up. - fireman93514Explorergetting it loaded up to hit the road tomorrow.

Turned my shore power cord into a pig tail with extension cord power cord.
I do that with mine. Allows me to keep the surge protector in the power compartment out of site and locked up. Also the extension is bright yellow not black so it's a lot easier to see and not get tripped over. - tailgate_CLEExplorerI did some demo work and chiefed a blunt in my RV today

- OldRadiosExplorerLost power at the house for several hours today. Just moved out to the C and had all the comforts including TV for updates as the storm passed through upstate New York.
- GarinoExplorerAt 8500 miles I notice a little wear inside driver side front tire. Local tire shop has alignment rack said he can do 4500 service body trucks so bring the class c by and see.
They drove it up about 2 foot high ramps on the rack then raised up to about 4 feet high.
Yep in and out in less than 1 hour and 129 bucks good to go. Was a little off with steer wheel a little off also. Now all straight.
Now just waiting on my Chevy dealer close by on doing my recall on O2 sensors. Don't think after my visit and the conversation we had I'll get the call. He questioned not getting paid from Chevy since he only sells up to 3500 series.
