- woodworker414ExplorerWent to Lake of the Ozarks to visit sister and her husband. My sister and I stayed at the Osage Beach Rv Park, in Osage Beach, MO. On Sat. afternoon we came by the C to pick up some stuff to take to my sisters place. Open the door and the a/c was off, in fact no power. The main breaker had tripped. HHHHHHHMMMMMMMMM. When I open the panel door it was very warm. Reset the breaker and all was well.Well Sun. afternoon we all were at the C, in the afternoon and the breaker tripped again. HHHHHMMMMMMM. Again the panel door was really worm, maybe even hot.The breaker was hot. Back home got into it and the son in law, he is my eyes, found that two of the prongs on the shore power cord were very loose.to the point for one of them, you could just about pull it out.
So a new shore power cord was installed. Decided to replace the breaker also, since the breaker heated up numerous times. For less than 20 bucks a new breaker. All is well now.:) - woodworker414ExplorerYep MIke, been there done that. I had a Real Lite 12' truck camper. Boutght new to me, knowing I had a job coming with it. I had to replace the wall under the main large side window. Replaced all the structure and the paneling inside. When done look good as new. Being a carpenter sure help in tackling the project. I would do it again if needed.
Safe Travels - RoadAbodeExplorerReplaced some rotted wood in the quarter panels and fixed the panels behind the bumper.

Then went out for a Guys Weekend down Aberdeen MD to Bar Harbor RV Park - Right on the water! - ericsmith32ExplorerCleaned out the black and grey tanks today. Yeah it smelled horrendous! But as I told my wife the neighbors were out smoking and I had to smell that they could smell the sewer. Had 5 gallons in it per the bucket I put under it. Put the hose down in the tank and moved it around. Little chunks came out but for the most part the black tank was clean. The grey tank alot of stuff came out.. put the hose each drain and blew it out. Washed the bugs off before and put the tire covers back on for a 2 week nap then our last week trip till December.
- ronfishermanModeratorFinished summer wax job on motorhome. Sure looks good.
- Cousin_Eddie93ExplorerInstalled some oak decorative strips to cover up the old wall paper seams that separated over the winter.

Bedroom in our C has a double sliding mirror floor to ceiling closet for hanging clothes. Mostly wasted space for us as there's another closet for hanging the few things we want to hang. I built a shelf unit for one side for more inside storage. Still have the other half to hang clothes if I need it. The door is normally closed so it didn't have to look pretty. - pbitschuraExplorerRan two rows of clear Gorilla tape along the top of our awning where small pin pricks are starting to show at the weather line.
- Navy_SmokerExplorerScrubbed the awning, ordered individual window awnings to supplement the main awning and sorted all of the items in the basement storage to eliminate those deemed unneeded.
- Cousin_Eddie93ExplorerWidened the excessory battery space to properly install a larger w29 deep cycle. The existing hole was way too narrow to fit a proper battery that can withstand long term dry camping. Also replaced the terminals and contact points to the genny. Discovered the genny's tail pipe has a hole at the bend so I wrapped it with rapid set and fiber glass cloth. Strong as nails now. Going to frontier town MD on Monday so won't be needing the genny but wanted to fix it anyway. Torpmorrow I'll service the AC unit and pack.
