- woodworker414ExplorerHey JJ, I agree with you on the I HATE WINTER. And mine are not as bad as yours. Yep, the days are getting longer. YYYYYEEEEEHHHHHAAAAAAA
Life is a trip, ENJOY the ride.
Safe Travels. - JesseJ1826ExplorerWent to storage lot and ran the genny with electric heater on. After half hour temperature only got to just above freezing. Geez I hate winter.
Oh well, there's light at the end of the tunnel, the days are getting noticeably longer. - snowdanceExplorerPulled the cover. Ran the generator and checked every thing over. Going to service it and then have top grade foam cut to the thickness we want and redo the dinette foam, cover is fine. Hope to have it all done in a couple weeks and be off to where ever we end up..
- BobboExplorer IIIReplaced my 7 year old 12v house batteries (2 in parallel) with 2 Interstate 6v golf cart batteries in series. (They even threw in a 12 inch 2/0 welding cable with eyelet ends to connect them, and 2 pair of longer tie down rods. As much as the batteries cost, they should have.)
- Kit_CarsonExplorerReplaced the two "house" batteries. Went to exercise the generator and it would not start...no clicking sound at all. No light on monitor panel, no house lights on 12V. Checked with meter and found 3.9 volts. Batteries were 4 years old, so I purchased two new ones, installed them, cleaned all contacts, used di-electric grease and everything works good now. Ran the generator for about 2 hours.
- Desert_CaptainExplorer IIIFinally got around to installing a small safe for some reasonably secure storage. Picked this one up at Home Depot for $69. Not heavy duty but like they say, it will keep the honest people honest. This will give us secure, legal storage with quick 5 keystroke access. :R
I mounted it in the bottom of the closet and thru bolted it in from below, (1.25" 5/16" bolts with 1.5" flat washers top and bottom secured with double lock nuts). If a would be thief can get it out quicker than I got it in (over an hour), he is a better man than I.

- ericsmith32ExplorerWouldn't work well in our case. It would interfere with the bathroom door. If there were only two of us would of went that route really wanted to!!

Making some modifications will it's down for a couple months. Spent 41 days and put 6k miles on it last year so now I have good idea on what needs to be changed. Got done with the shelf above, good and sturdy.
Out with this piece of junk.. hate it with a passion.
In.. Minus the shower curtain that's on the next shopping list.
Had to trim the pole down which was tricky but not terrible. The green rod doesn't match well but was free so can't complain. The channels from the old accordion junk was glued down so decided to leave it. Will help to keep water in and think I'll get another rod for the middle to dry towels.
Get one of these. Flips out to give you more elbow room when taking a shower and goes in when not in use to make a nice drying bar.
- ericsmith32ExplorerTook it down for storage at the farm for a couple months. Sometime decided to break the back window on the car again so had to get the car's off the road. Too cold to modify the back gate right now! I'm having separation anxiety!
