- dont1abExplorerRepairing the galley cabinet. Apparently the teeny staples they use to hold everything together are giving up after 2 years...
I sure hope that Forest River does a better QC job with Coachmen than their predecessors! - psycmeistrguyExplorerI currently have a 1979 Minnie Winnie (classic)... it's on a Dodge chassis and it has a 360 cid power plant--but today I went and bought a 440 cid engine and transmission (60,000mi)-it came with all the accessories, air conditioner compressor and condenser, radiator, etc., for $425.
I'm going to be replacing some plywood in the cab-over area as well..
So that's going to be my project for the next month or so :O) - danewguyExplorerSo here in NY we have had some heavy rains which made me want to check on my rig only to find it was good that I checked cause there was a leak, so today was clean up day and time to make an appointment to get the window fixed that was the cause of the leak.
- tenbearExplorerI finally finished the work on replacing the kitchen faucet and repairing the damaged counter top.
Last season water had leaked under the sink and got into the press-board counter top, causing it to swell. The DW decided that she would like a new faucet, the old single control was too difficult to control the water temperature. I removed the sink last fall and clamped the bulge in the counter top making it flat. It sat all winter with the clamp on it.
This spring I removed the clamp, sealed the press-board with varnish, installed a new dual control faucet and reinstalled the sink using sealer to keep water from seeping under the sink.
The old bulge is barely noticeable and the new faucet looks fine. Can't wait to summerize the MH to see if there are any leaks. - Jtroop1ExplorerDewinterized the rig and sanitized the fresh water system. Going to do some camping next weekend! :)
