- trnflaExplorerTook the winnie for the first drive in 6 months. Cab battery dead, jump started with box, started generator turned on frig, heater, and water heater.
Drove to Fort Desoto, they allow you to use their dump station with a donation to frineds of Fort Desoto. Gave them $5.00, could not start again, box did not work, waited 2 hours for AAA. No big deal had a nice view while waiting.
Got it started, emtpy both tanks (left engine running). Drove it back to storage lot and removed battery to get one tomorrow.
Over all a good shake down cruise. - Aurabbit79erExplorer

My Greyhawk had the bedroom TV in the top cabinet next to the ceiling. That made the picture black out when we laid in bed because of the angle, and Jayco also wasted a lot of available storage space behind the TV panel. I moved the TV to the middle position, and turned the drawer that was there into an overhead cabinet above the TV. Now I can comfortably watch TV from the bed, and I almost doubled the storage space in the wardrobe's center section. Pics of it here.
And I ordered 690AH of batteries to install!
Excellent job buddy, it looks like it was designed like that and came that way. - Just_JeffExplorerMy Greyhawk had the bedroom TV in the top cabinet next to the ceiling. - woodworker414ExplorerAurabbit79er, thanks for the reply. I am gonna have to give this a good deal of thought to get a good list. Probably just do a practice run several times and make notes then compile the list.
Have a great one.

Aurabbit79er, I like the idea of a pegboard. Be easy to make and get some golf tee's to use. What items do you hve on your pegboard, a few or a lot?
Bill
First Pre flight list:
Dump tanks, fill fresh water, check oil, check coolant, check trans fluid, check break fluid. check power steering, check air in tires,
check window washer fluid, bottle of tequila under the front seat.
Prelaunch checklist:
Remove Jacks and stabilizer, removed wheel chalks, check TV antenna is down, Check solar panel is secure, secure US Flag, Genny and gas cans secured, All storage lockers are locked, Secure roof vent, Secure Shore power, Secure shore water, secure any loose gear inside coach. Coach door locked.
The order isn't set yet but I do like to be efficient in the process.
My class C is only 24' so it doesn't take long to inspect it.
I also planned on using golf tees. - woodworker414ExplorerAurabbit79er, I like the idea of a pegboard. Be easy to make and get some golf tee's to use. What items do you hve on your pegboard, a few or a lot?

My two sisters and I went to the Powder Valley Nature Center yesterday, in Kirkwood, MO. A suburb of St. Louis.Part of the MO Dept. of Conservation. Had a great time.walked a couple of the short trails. Had a nice snack in the C while on the parking lot. Its great having your home with you when doing something like this. Was standing at the window last looking out at the C just before I went to bed and the thought came to mind that I had forgotten to turn off the propane tank, we needed the furnace yesterday. Went out this morning and turned it off. I will have to come up with a system to let me know what I have turned on, or if I put the jacks down, the antenna up, etc. I was thinking a white board by the door. What other ideas out there that people use for reminders.

That is a good question bill. I have a good ides about that. First I will make a list of pre lauch items and a list of pre flight items and make 2 peg boards with pegs for each item. Red for launch and green for pre flight, by the coach door. then go around and put a peg hole at that item. if the board is clear we have landed. If the board is full we can launch. Colors are optional of course.
- bukhrnNomadExercised the Genny, put in an old movie, run the electric heater for a load, made a bag of popcorn & partook (?) Of a golden beverage, or 3.
