- woodworker414ExplorerThanks for the info BENNIEH.
Bill - BennieHExplorerI got them from Super Bright LEDs:
The MCPC Series lights
These were the same size as what was on our rig and the screw holes lined up perfectly! - woodworker414ExplorerGood morning BENNIEH, good idea. Something I have been thinking about doing. Where did you find your LED marker lights?
And using ss screws was very good idea.
Safe travels
Bill - BennieHExplorerReplaced all of the marker lights with Super Bright LED units. Got tired of the Bargmen lights filling with water. The lights I got were the same size, screw pattern and were fully sealed. I replaced all of the screws with Stainless Steel ones and used Goecell sealant.
They look better and are brighter. - ronfishermanModeratorTook cover off. MH has been stored since May. Repaired Allure floor where a mod I last fall put a hole in flooring. Ran generator.
I feel better now. Want to get back out on road and use the MH. - bob_and_donnaExplorerJust took it to the car wash to remove 2800 miles of bugs; as we just returned from our maiden voyage to the great North West. Left last Friday and went to Utah, Idaho, Oregon, & Washington. saw family and some sites. I knew when we got the c that it would be different than the tow-able and luckily we only had 2 wind events. And whats with Utah and not removing the road barrels after the work is done? Would anyone like to give a hint on what they use for 3 hour drive comfort in the drivers seat? my rear is still tender.
- tenbearExplorerReplaced the old 40A circuit breaker in the battery to converter wire with an 80A breaker. The 40A was left over from the OEM Magnetek 7345 converter and #8 wire days. Now there is a PD9260 converter and #4 wire.
- woodworker414ExplorerHey Moose88, I feel your pain. I have the same issue almost. Mine is the DW health issues. Ours has become a, as I call it, A VERY EXPENSIVE YARD ORNAMENT. But someday things will change and it will get back on the road. I just don't know when. I am thinking of looing for a "A" that I could a hole in the side wall and install a wheelchair lift, like used on the side door of vans. Nedd to do a whole lot of checking before taking on a project like that. But I am tired of being cooped up. The C has been home based now for 5 years. So I have a very bad case of cabin fever. I am going to figure something out and soon.
Hang in there
Bill - Johnny_DearbornExplorerToday I took my 23' Shasta out for my first ever trip! It's a 2001 with 24,000 miles on it. Generator has 20 hours on it. Looks brand new inside. I bought it a few weeks ago and took it to my local RV repair place to make sure everything in the cabin was working and repair the odds and ends that needed fixing. Then I dropped it off at my local shop to replace some of the hoses and take care of some under-the-hood business. (Everything was working but I like to make sure everything is up-to-date.) Yesterday, I went shopping for new towels, kitchen supplies, storage containers and all the various odds and ends necessary to make it my home on the road.
This morning, I washed the dust off the cab then we piled in and headed off to the San Diego Bay to relax and drink a few beers. There's always a bunch of RV's parked near the bay so right away, there was a crew to welcome me to the fold.
Tuesday, I go shopping and then it's three weeks on the road (starting with a visit to Sturgis). - moose888ExplorerIv only had time to start it and wish I was going somewhere . All we do is baby sit kids. dogs, and 86 and 88 year old in - laws. Im not sure if I could slip away without the wife hearing me . It's hard to drift a 35 foot Dynamax down the driveway.
