- Gunner45ExplorerBought a matteress pad for our bed!
- Kit_CarsonExplorerChecked water level in all batteries, run generator, changed out batteries in all remotes, alarms, etc. When it cools down some I will wash the RV and check roof calking for cracks. Getting ready for fall.
- noe-placeExplorerChecked everything and replaced my old worn out sewer hose.
- Mich_FExplorerPulled out the old original, nasty looking carpet in the cab of my 97 MH and replaced it with new carpet.
- tobydadExplorerYesterday got it back from local tire and repair business in preparation for trip to Myrtle Beach tomorrow. Will not go back there as they charged $90. labor to change the oil and $80. labor to replace rubber stems with metal one in the rear duals. I will find a quick lube that can handle the motorhome. Today I have been packing for the trip.
- DoomsterExplorerOver the last 2 months I have gutted it to the studs after I found a battery stored (disintegrated) by the water holding tank in the back, replaced a 34" by 46" section of floor and 3 wall studs. Good news is my wife only paid $400.00 for it when I thought I would need it for work. Good thing I didn't because the Doom Machine needs allot of work. Its referred to as the doom machine in our house because its going to be my doom :). I'm up to putting the cabinets and appliances back in to the kitchen so its not going too bad. Looking to make it usable during our lovely North Dakota winters when we decide to go visit friends in states that aren't -40. I have lots of pictures if any one wants to see. Ill post progress as I go.
- Gunner45ExplorerWe did nothing to it today (and this past 2 weeks), we are at fair and didn't own our RV in time to get a site for it. So we had to settle for just shopping for it :) We bought a new folding table and folding cart that we really could have used here at the fair! But at least we have them for the next dog events!
- snowdanceExplorerAlso had a pull to the right under braking on my 13 year old rig. Now that I am thru my Cataract surgery and seeing like when I was a kid I replaced the front calipers. hoses and pads. Disc looked good. The hose on the left side had gotten a flap in it and was stopping the fluid except under hard braking. Also replaced the hose on the rear. Cost for it all was $197 and worn knees on my jeans. Wife cleaned the inside carpet ect with the steam cleaner. I went thru all the Cabinets out side and cleaned and sprayed for bugs. Treating the fresh water system and will check every thing inside over. Wife treated wood with pledge and got all the normal things stocked up and starting to load for a couple weeks at the Coast it looks like as the three other trips we hoped to take are to areas with heavy smoke and fires. So using plan D. Nice thing about a small rig. Can always find a spot for a 25 foot MH and we do not really need hookups for a couple days at a time. Wave if you see us go by.
- JesseJ1826ExplorerGot it back from the shop. Had taken it in to have brakes checked as there was some pulling to the right under hard braking. New front pads, new caliper on right rear which had seized and ruined the rotor, and new rear pads as well. $1600.00 Glad I don't have to do this every year.
- wbwoodExplorerPulled it to the top of the driveway, filled the water tank and plugged it in. Going to the local state park Friday - Sunday.
