- Admiral99ExplorerLast week I replaced both older TVs (2007) with HD flat screens - reckon that was 200lbs left curbside. Also installed a new BBQ with a gas line to the propane tank - that is convenient!
At the moment we are on day 5 of a 51 day road trip: Ottawa, Ontario - along the north shore of Lake Huron, north shore lake superior to Thunder Bay then north of Winnipeg to Grand Rapids, across to Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Edmonton, Drumheller, Calgary, Little Big Horn, Chicago and home to Ottawa. _About 10,000 kms.
Rig is working great except the fridge is too cold (see thread).
Currently in Nipigon, Ontario and the temp is -1c/30f. - RFVExplorerJust did a sweep and mop to the RV floor. Also wiped down the interior. Now a clean smelling RV!
- Gunner45ExplorerHad the carpenter out measuring for the drawers. Also did so cupboard organizing.
Received the outdoor rug yesterday :)
Can't wait for our October weekend camping trip!
Dori - DaHoseExplorerToday it rained, so I checked to make sure my "new roof" wasn't leaking. The entire cabover area (that I just rebuilt) is dry as a bone, however ..... I sealed up a rooftop A/C gasket leak and a leaking rear window.
Our awning funnels the water off the roof right onto the window frame. The window outer edge was not draining fast enough, so I had to make a bunch of extra drain holes.
The A/C gasket surface looked good and it sits completely flat against the aluminum roof. Fixing the a/c leak was a simple matter of squirting some Alex sealant between the gasket and roof, then tightening it back down.
Jose - KristinUExplorerReplaced the microwave after it clunked out on us. Luckily it was not a true built-in but a bezel that fits around a countertop model. So after visiting every store in town with bezel in hand, we found one that fit just right. We don't use the microwave too often, but it is nice to have.
- fireman93514ExplorerWe were at the RV park in Reno and I noticed a sewer leak. We headed home and I replaced the rubber hose between the black tank and the dump valve. I replaced the valve as well. What a nasty dirty job that was.
- moose888ExplorerI started it up and ran it for 20 minutes then I did the same with the generator and put it under a load. I plan on fixing the jack knife sofa tomorrow it keeps popping open riding down the road I guess it's out of adjustment. We planing on trip to Harper Ferry soon with the grandkids.
- richardwiseExplorerWith my leg feeling good enough today to get around, I finally got something done to help adjust the driver's seat. With a fused hip and knee on the right side, I can't bend over to reach the bar. I found a 6" hook, put a handle on it and can now reach the adjuster bar. This will suffice until I get a power seat.
- applegaterExplorerPulled out the coach batteries, cleaned them and topped off fluid, and cleaned all the Alaska dirt out of battery bay.
- woodworker414ExplorerPut the RV Awning Travel Lock on. Put a wasp screen over the ports of the furnace. Some day I will have all the stuff I want on it. Someday.
