Flurries and colder for the weekend! Minus 8 overnight! Yikes! - pianotunaNomad IIIHi,
The extra fridge fans cut in!!! Spring has finally arrived. - pianotunaNomad IIIHi Paul,
I managed with the tape--$0.69 cents at Princess Auto. I did have a 2nd plug so I didn't loose much water making the exchange. The socket sure makes it easier to tighten. I inserted the plug finger tight, then turned on the pump and rotated the plug with my ratchet until there were no drips forming. I'll check it again later.
When I was not full time a little dripping didn't matter. But since I'll be full time boondocking shortly (Tuesday April 13, 2014) it WILL be important.SWD wrote:

Got a socket to fit the water heater drain. Cranked the plug all the way in. Now it is leaking worse than ever *sigh*. Time to find the teflon tape I guess.
Don.....Teflon paste is far more superior than tape.....however a combination of both may help with those really stubborn leaks. - Grumpy374ExplorerLast few days...
Got underneath the MH and sanded the rusty areas on the frame, coated with Oshpo and painted the areas with automotive black paint.
Installed a Fridge Fix from Smart RV Products. Works great.
Installed tubular keyed locks from Industrial Lock & Hardware, keyed alike.
De-winterized, getting ready for the first trip this weekend.

- woodworker414ExplorerHello everyone, my lastest addition to the C was completed today. My son in law does the work for since I have serious vision issues. The3 camera system is in and fully in operation. Too cool turn on the blinker and that camera comes on, when the blinker is turned off the system goes back to the rear camera. We picked the rear camera to be the home camera on the monitor. In living color. Wow, can you see what is going on in the back and the sides of the coach. Wide view from the cameras. He finished the last of the wiring this afternoon with me holding the umbrella. Really like the syster.
Safe Travels
