- Navy_SmokerExplorerThe zoning code says it has to be behind or beside my house and screened from the neighbor's view. My 8 closest neighbors prefer it in the driveway because we all have second story decks on our house and is very visable from them whether it is in the backtard or frontyard. The funny part is that when I asked the town's compliance officer what would be my consequences if I didn't comply with their notice,he couldn't give me a clear answer. If the town doesn't take action against the 11 other owners that have yet to comply, I'll probably move it back to the driveway.

probably cant keep it in front of a line that follows the front wall of the house. thats why so many have to put in a parking pad on the side of the house.
I'm sure glad I didn't buy into that 'civilized' of a hood. - W4MBGExplorerprobably cant keep it in front of a line that follows the front wall of the house. thats why so many have to put in a parking pad on the side of the house.

Moved it from my driveway where it was shaded and screened from public view to the side of my house where it is very visable. Had to do this to satisfy a town ordnance that is being enforced throughout my neighborhood for the first time in years. Also added refelctive insulation to the windows to help keep the interior temperatures cooler over the next 95+ degree days.
Because I'm curious, are you saying you can't park it in your driveway? - JesseJ1826ExplorerYesterday was off to the shop and got front wheel bearings repacked and serviced the brakes.
After that went to another place and got emission test done.
Today I get to order licence plate renewals on line.

- tenbearExplorerI noticed the string in one of my day-night shades was frayed on our latest trip. Today I replaced the strings in the blind. Believe me, its a lot easier to do before the string has broken. This is my third one, the other two were a couple of years ago.

Added a Winegard Wingman to the TV antenna... tough job! Took maybe all of 2 minutes once I got on the roof.
You lucked out. When I did the mod and lowered the antenna the Wingman wanted to hit the A/C unit. I had to unfasten the antenna base and turn it a few degrees C/W. Unfortunately there wasn't a helper inside to guide me and the shaft is off center. :S It doesn't turn as easy as it should but I can live with it or cut away some more wood from the inside to make the hole larger. - ReplantExplorerFor the rear bed I purchased a memory foam mattress made in the USA and started on the repair and refurbishing of the aluminum steps on the cab. Tomorrow I'll buy a couple rolls of Skid Guard tape also made in the good ol' USA. :)
