What good are clearance lights?
So I am resealing my roof and the front clearance lights look bad, cracked, screws rusted up and I am thinking about replacing them. Then I wonder, what good are they? Are they required? Why? Why not...

Required in Texas to pass the annual State Safety Inspection. I believe there is a Federal requirement for lighting(DOT standards for both Auto's and Trucks/RV's). Most only require the 4 corner lights. The 3 middle lights are usually not required. Doug
