What good are clearance lights?
So I am resealing my roof and the front clearance lights look bad, cracked, screws rusted up and I am thinking about replacing them. Then I wonder, what good are they? Are they required? Why? Why not...

Every large vehicle has them. If they weren't required, the manufacturers wouldn't go through the added expense of installing them. Pretty obvious if you ask me.
