But answer this: IF I'm tooling along in my NEON does it really matter if the oncoming who's lane I am in is a "FULL WIDTH" vehicle or not?
And do they put em on Hummers... Hummers are full width but as I recall no clearance lights. (As I Recall means... I may be mistaken however).
The "full width" Hummer H1 is only 86.5" wide (Military version is 85"). Most Class A and many Class C motorhomes, as well as many 5'vers and TT's, are between 96" and 102" wide, as are most OTR truck/trailer combinations and OTR buses. The Hummer is also under the 10,000 lb minimum for clearance, identification, and other large vehicle lighting requirements.
