What good are clearance lights?
So I am resealing my roof and the front clearance lights look bad, cracked, screws rusted up and I am thinking about replacing them. Then I wonder, what good are they? Are they required? Why? Why not...

I do just love those folks that are in the left lane on the freeway and see your turn signal when you need to move over and pull up even with a corner of your rig and hang there.:E
You would not be able to see them flash, even if they did. You mean having side mounted turn signal lights.
Newer outfits have the side mounted flashers, required if over a certain length.
