What good are clearance lights?
So I am resealing my roof and the front clearance lights look bad, cracked, screws rusted up and I am thinking about replacing them. Then I wonder, what good are they? Are they required? Why? Why not...

While traveling in Japan, I saw trucks with green lights where our clearance lights would be.
If one was lite, the truck was going slow, 2 = medium speed. When I see all three lite then I knew it was 'RAMMING' speed. :-)
