- frankdampExplorerIf it's REALLY a 1793 MH, it would be worth a lot of money!!
- BigRabbitManExplorerThese are a guess from a friend of mine.

But...check this out http://www.classicwinnebagos.com/forum/index.php?topic=6745.0 - Me_AgainExplorer IIII guy on Turbo Diesel Register posted it, wanted to know make. Not a Commander they were all painted and different, Superior, Vogue, Executive or anything I can find. I believe there is a drivers door also.
The stack head lights for that vintage says it was a higher end unit.
Closer to a Barth than anything I can find, however I can not match the model to them. Chris - outboardfeverExplorerCommander? My dad had one with the 440.
Some guys even made a 4WD version and ran the BAHA, was loaded with beer and did not go very far but much fun was had. - gboppExplorer

Well if it is a hobby job the hobby guy was pretty good. My thought is that it was a small company that did not last very long.

It looks pretty good for a home built RV. I also think it was built by a small obscure company.
I'm assuming you could not see inside or talk to the owner? Maybe it had some type of identifying plate or marker.
Was it just sitting in a field? I don't see any windshield wipers so I'm guessing it was not licensed or operational.
If it was a modified step van or other truck it would have wipers.
And, is that a door at the front passenger seat?
Please keep us updated if you make an identification. I like vintage motor homes. - azrvingExplorer.
