What is the best 1 item you ever bought for your camper?

A Spa Sensations Gel Memory Foam mattress for our bed. As soon as I put money down for the fifth wheel, I ordered the mattress. It arrived before we picked up the fifth wheel!

we refer to our class A gasser as a camper. don't see why we shouldn't or can't.

best things...chair hook for the rear ladder so we can bring our large chaise lounge chairs with us would be one. telescoping long handled pole for washing windows would be another.

#1 Tire pressure monitoring systems on both of our Rvs. Just make a trip to a major RV service center, such as the Tiffin Service Center in Red Bay AL. 1st trip sold us, 120 hookups, 10% had damage to rear 1/3 of motorhome from blown tires. Cost to repair $5,000 and up to replace bay doors, tanks, electrical, hydraulics, inverter or batteries depending on which side, model and extent of damage.

#2 Power management/surge protection system. Have Progressive Industries systems on both.

#1 best item for camper was DW. She keeps the interior spotless and well-organized.
#2 best item was the portable staircase for outside. The factory steps stink.

Portable water softener......really takes care of those hard water sources

Portable macerator....great for pumping long distance and uphill

Installation of extra dump valve on main drain header.....can tie both grey tanks together for extended capacity. Can equalize grey tanks with black to backflush it with soapy water. Heck can tie all three tanks together for 140 gallon waste tank capacity

Power leveling jacks.
