- Old-BiscuitExplorer IIII use an adjustable Watts Regulator on city water supply.
It is set at 50# static - WayneLeeExplorerThe highest pressure is dependent upon many factors including type, manufacturer, age, type of construction, etc. When I purchased my current coach, I contacted Monaco with this question. I was told that, at that time, Monaco was testing each coach during the final assembly, and each coach must pass a pressure test of 100 psi. On the other hand, Monaco also advised me to keep my water pressure at 50 psi or lower because the "weak link" in the system would be the incoming water hose.
- cochise49ExplorerI too sometimes turn on the pump when taking a shower or using the kitchen faucet sprayer. The parks utilities are my first choice over our own resources but, water pressure can vary. Like to use the electric heating equipment when available.

I'm at 42 and am happy with it, things will last longer too. - CamrealExplorerA pressure regulator between the faucet and hose delivering water to your RV is good insurance.
- Shadow_CatcherExplorerIF your RV was assembled correctly 65 PSI should be good, if not... You can do a leak test using air. I use the plug I use for blowing out the water lines and pump up the system for a leak down test. If I lose pressure I start looking for leaks using soapy water (beats having water spray all over the place). I also check for gas leaks at the same time, and easier to do, turn on the gas and turn it off if you come back the next day and turn it on and get a substantial flow back up to pressure you have a leak.
- JimM68ExplorerWe use a shurflo extreme 5.7 pump. water pressure is 65 psi. We often turn it on to augment the pressure when hooked up at campgrounds.
No problems at all with the plumbing.
Also this variable speed pump is much quieter, even at high flow, than the basic pump it replaced. - Mfar1234Explorerto be safe....40 - 45
