What late model makes are 96" wide & <40 foot long?

US expats planning 12 months in the US in 2015-2016.

Buying a used later model DIESEL class A pusher with slides 35 -39/40 foot
BUT must be less than 12.5 metres.
The maximum external width 96"
BUT must be less than 2.5 metres.

The vehicle will be converted to RHD & exported to Australia in 2016 to continue our journey.

Can anyone advise a link that will let me know what LATE model MH's with slides are 96" wide, please? Maybe cut & paste a list here if available?

Freightliner & Oshkosh chassis are not too difficult to convert to RHD & parts are available in OZ from salvage garbage/refuse vehicles, I am told.

Many thanks for your help. JG.

Thanks guys....Tiffin sell Ford 10 cylinder gas jobs in OZ through a number of RAWS establishments @ about double US prices + Rexhall's are converted to RHD in NZ by some company.

I am an ex John Deere, Volvo, & lately Cat diesel guy.
Currently run a second Hyundai 2 litre turbo IX35.
Just did a trip Brisbane to Sydney return, 37 mpg
Same vehicle as the current Tucson over there but I don't know if you have diesel models yet. Highly recommended vehicle except for the lousy radio.
  • I don't know of any late model US built diesel Class A that doesn't exceed your width requirements with the exception of the Tiffin Allegro Breeze 32BR and the Winnebago Via (which is even smaller). There have been Breezes converted to RHD. You might want to contact Tiffin Motorhomes with your specific requirements.
  • That brings another question-- do you have ULSD (Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel) in Australia?

Late model diesel engines in the U.S. require a max of 15 ppm sulfur.
  • Thanks Brett I will check that out.

I am aware that anything before 1989 can be brought in quite easily if within the dimensional limits, then converted to RHD + plumbing & electrical upgrades.

What I am after is as late a model as I can afford up to about 2010.
Late model vehicles can only be imported if owned & used for 12 months plus & are within the dimensional constraints OR through a government approved RAWS establishment. The RAWS establishments really limit choices to a few gas/petrol vehicles I don't want, unfortunately.
