We just upgraded (for us) from a class C to an Itasca 32V class A, we kept the Jeep Wrangler (2009) manual transmission we had been using.
Very easy to tow, just put the gear case in neutral, leave the key in accessory mode, unhook the battery and off we go. Heading for Lake Powell and Moab this week with the grandkids and the dogs.
Sometime in 2008 they removed the steering wheel lock feature on the JK's. No need to disconnect battery or leave key in vehicle. Being yours is a manual tranny they may have left that feature installed. You could put it up on jack stands with the key out and turn the wheels side to side and see if it locks up, if not your hooks ups will be more enjoyable.
