My RV has hydraulic levelers, and I love them. Without them, every time someone rolls over in bed the entire unit bounces on the suspension. The levelers make it feel like you are in a building - rock steady.
Significant movement at night from people rolling over in bed, is a strong indicator that the chassis would benefit from heavy duty front and rear stabilizer bars, heavy duty shock absorbers, and maybe a rear trac bar.
Our 2007 E350 chassis is equipped with those items. They stabilize our rig for great handling while driving as well as in a camp site, so we don't have fancy jacks. We ordered our rig with the intention to add hydraulic jacks later if we change our mind. But we never did.
We carry a few sets of
LYNX LEVELERS to level our rig as needed at camp-sites. But to be frank, we rarely need to use them. We take full advantage of uneven camp site parking pads, placing the tires in dips and on humps to make our rig level. It is easy with the little bubble levels mounted inside by the driver to position our rig with minimal assistance. My wife spots me during the process to avoid hitting a tree or rock or something during my leveling process.
