When we switched from small 5er to a Class C MH, we wanted 3 things; a permanent, walk around queen bed, a dinnete, and a couch. We found that below about 28 or 29 feet, you have to start giving up something. Now, I would add to that, power levelers, a back-up camera and some outside storage compartments that I could access without being on my knees or bending to the extreme. We are happy with the 30 footer we found but if we keep doing it much further into old age, we will consider downsizing. Problem is, we would want to eliminate the need to tow and you've got to get really small to do that. Around 27 feet is as close as you can come to "having it all".
