Holstein13, hope that you can find a place that has electricty. I'm like you, I wouldn't want to 'turn off' the coach. That way, you can use your electric heat and set your genny to come on in case of power loss (if outside storage).
I've got ours stored currently for two weeks at a local RV park. The monthly rate is $450 which isn't too bad for 50 amp, water and sewer. We have never winterized and have no plans to ever do that. Tonight it's getting down to 22 and tomorrow down to 10 and expecting 2-4 inches of snow. I've got the electric heat on along with the Espar diesel furnace. The electric heat seems to keep the diesel from firing up (so far).
We'll probably be heading to Asheville this summer as we have for the last 4 or 5 in late August early Sept.
