- J-RoosterExplorerI chose not to buy a DP because the cost of diesel fuel and maintenance. My coach gets very good MPG driving 55 mph and not towing all 4 down. Gas here in AZ. currently $3.19 per gallon, diesel is over $4.00 per gallon here. I change oil once a year at $65.00 per oil change a diesel is 4 times that price. And to be fair (I like diesels) I drove them all my working life I just wanted a change. My gas coach is the top of the Winnebago gas coach line when I bought it new 10 years ago and it gets me back and forth to Arizona just fine. I do miss air ride but I drive slower now and only 400 miles a day when traveling. Good Luck to you in whatever you choose to buy!

The pusher is much quieter and rides better. Fuel cost per mile will be lower in a pusher as mine gets much better MPG than my 09 gasser, even with diesel costing more.
Wish I had bought the diesel first - - We_Cant_WaitExplorerPros and Cons to both, what matters more is the Floor Plan. If it's not one you LOVE then you won't be happy with either.
- powderman426ExplorerA pusher is a class A. Do you mean a gasser or a diesel pusher?
