When the motorhome is plugged into shore power AND the engine is running, are the house batteries being charged by the engine alternator or by the converter off shore power? I ask because our slide...

OP is back. Thanks for all the discussion.
Extended and then retracted all three slides this morning with no problems. This time I was not plugged into shore power, but had the engine running. I think that's what we'll do from now on.
