Let's hear more good reasons and stories about, "why a small class-c"
A lot of us are at the place where a small class-c fits perfectly.
Of course everything is temporary. :)
OP here. I guess the point I was trying to make is, it's kind of a camping comfort vs freedom thing. On one hand, for comfort a big 5er would probably be best. And for freedom a 4X4 jeep with a tent.
To me at least I find I enjoy the freedom more than the actual camping.
And a small C seems like a nice compromise. We have been all over the western US, Alaska and Canada.
What I have really enjoyed is the exploring, as in whats up that gravel road (don't have to worry I can not turn around.
I enjoy being able to stop pretty much every where along the road, to see and do, go into small towns and gas stations and places to eat.
And to not worry much about reservations, If the CG has 1 site left, state or private, there is a 99% chance I can fit. Not so much with the big rigs, I would think
We have been blessed to camp in some of the most fantastic places on the planet. And a lot of those, you just can not get something much bigger than a 24 in. That's why we are big fans of a small C. But to each his own. Just saying what works for us, not for others
