You don't have to do without to travel in a small class "C" RV. Our 2011 Bengal Tiger (Names the TARDIS) Has it all Generator, Solar Panels, Microwave convection oven, air conditioning, Full bathroom(small - toilet, sink & shower), outside shower, color TV & DVD player, etc., etc. We have everything the big rigs have but space (not needed). They told us when we started RVing that being cooped up is such a small space for an extended period of time, eventually we would each need our own personnel space. My wife told me mine was outside. It worked well for us. We traveled 97 continuous days last year on our trip from Virginia to Alaska and never needed our own personnel space. We traveled and stayed in places where the big rigs couldn't go & had the time of our lives...Holly & Dave "The Tardis Time Travelers"
