Our HR Admiral gaser has windows on both sides of the bedroom, a large one on the curb side and a small one on the street side. The large one is usually enough to let fresh air in, it's it's still too warm then it's time for ac anyway.
But the 2000 Holiday Rambler Admiral M-30d doesn't. I've always preferred my windows opened 80% of the time here Nevada. Hearing wind, birds, distant coyote pups yelping and even faint barking gives me such peace. If and when I can't take our suffocating heat anymore, 1st i 'll jump in the shower, then allow the outdoor breeze to cool me off again but if its 100+ at bedtime the generated air is a must. I cant concentrate well in an inclosed area very well, thats why i became a Fulltimer! To feel and also hear nature all around me, especially in my bedroom AND also now sleep in my more windowy living room once I get my bigger & better Land Yatch home.
Right now Vegas is dipping into the 30s during the nights, so the last thing i'm worried about is getting too hot while i put on all my jammies, socks, fingerless gloves and favorite down coat right now. Thats when those 1 window caves/rooms will come in handy!
bbrrrrrrr!!!!
forgot to add, i'll be flying for the 2nd time since Thanksgiving, but also the 2nd time in 18 years and its to Costa Rica on Xmas Day for 18 day trek where the weather is much better, for there's no real need to count how many windows or air conditioners or down jackets when you're sleeping under a net outside most of time, right?
