Will I have to add anti gel to my diesel fuel?

If you go to a regular gas station they will have type 2 diesel. It works pretty good but I lived in very cold country and always put an additive in my tank before I filled up.

I am from Ohio, and you will have no problems as all the fuel up north will be winter blend.

Northern states adjust the anti-jell based on the season of year. They've been doing this for years now. Temps would need to get to, something like, 30 below zero with diesel blends available today before jelling would occur.

Maybe so but the blend in a southern state probably will not have it blended - I asked at a Flying J in Missouri on the way south in December and it was not highly blended like in Minnesota

Put it in better safe than sorry - a service call would be about $500 just paid that 12/27/17 in MN and your towing service would not cover it due to your error -
