Will RG6 cable carry the HDTV signal to my new TV?

We have 3 tvs running from 2 receivers. Living area receiver is 1080P and also provides a 720P signal to the outside tv via coax. the remote for the outside tv is RF so no need for
line of sight. The bedroom tv has it's own receiver that is 1080P. The Winegard Traveller
will provide HD signal to multiple tvs and each tv can watch different programming.

Well with Dishnetwork even that solution has issues. but yes, that is way cheaper than a HDMI modulator.

The issue: Heaven forbid you and your partner wish to watch different shows.. UNLESS both shows are on the same bird, A DOME antenna can not do that... A dish can, but not a dome.

With a single receiver and the right dome.. No problem, but feeding the HD signal to the rear...

One option, you loose a bit of defination but normally the bedroom TV is smaller and thus you may not notice

Many receivers (Have not looked at the 211Z) (Downloading now) but you may be able to take either 3 or 5 lead to a lower cost modulator.

It has A/V out (Red/White/Yellow) so you can feed a standard DVD type modulator... Just loose some defination is all... Considering the difference in cost.. That or run a HDMI cable and splitter are your only options, Running that cable.. Easier than you think .

The long answer is yes but.....

Well, To do the job you need an HDMI modulator.. This is kind of like to watch a DVD on the remote TV you need a MODULATOR.. This device takes your audio and video, converts it to RF (Channel 3 or 4 usually) and ships it down the coax

Modulators for DVD use run about 25 bucks

The ones I found for HDIM, 1500 to 2000. I am sure there are less expensive ones but that was what I found when I searched.

When I had my Traveler installed the shop used the Wineguard supplied cables to the cabinet housing the Dish receiver which was simple since the coach originally had an old dome type antennae. From the receiver to the TV is an HDMI but the park cable and OTA came through a switch box and into the TV with the old coax.

The rear TV still uses the old coax and everything works fine on HD.

Since than I've replaced the original VIP receiver with a Hopper and Joey....still work fine.

When I asked pretty much the same question, I wanted one signal source to go to both sets. I intended from the onset to use HDMI cables and asked about using the switching box that came with the RV. I had googled using the existing coaxial and everything I found said NO!. So as recommended by the folks here, I bought an electronic splitter for HDMI cables.

As far as I could determine the switching box I have can't carry HD signals. Everything in coax systems, every connector, switch, filter, and misc. component degrades or stops the HD signal.

My quest was to use one BluRay player for both sets and so I bought a 12vdc powered splitter(passive splitters don't work)box and 35 foot HDMI cable and installed them. The setup works great. The only thing I would or might, do differently is buying different MFG's of TV sets. Everything is Insignia (Best Buy) and my sneaky grandchildren mess with switching channels on both sets at the same time. One of the remotes will even switch the TV sets and the BluRay.

I have cable and antenna on the original system, F connectors, RG 58 cable and the splitter box. The BluRay is on the HDMI cable and electronic signal splitter.

The cost was minimal, under $50, the installation was pretty difficult mainly due to the age of our rig and in 25 years the RV industry has learned a lot about routing cables and other wiring and installation might be much easier.

I managed to find TV sets and a BlyRay player that had wall warts so everything except the splitter runs directly off the 12vdc system in the RV. I'm looking for one of those too.

Nobody has that as an HD signal cannot be sent thru Coax cable. Some get confused. There is COAX TO THE RECIEVER that then processes the Cable or Sat signal. But the OUTPUT to a TV to be HD cannot be Coax. So, no, you cannot find a Coax OUTPUT. What you can do is get a SD receiver that is NOT HD and then use that coax output to your TV's. Not HD but few people can really tell the difference. Doug

X2 techwriter. My son-in-law installs high speed internet and high def tv for Comcast. They use RG 6 from the pole. Now to your TV From receiver use an HDMI cable if possible.

P.S. He often laughs at people who argue cable vs satellite -- cable IS satellite, that's how they get their signal! Every major city has a field of them somewhere!

NO. You can read some of the other posts and get confused so please understand that the answer to your question is NO!
The HD signal from the satellite will download via coax to your receiver but to get the HD signal from the receiver to the TV you will need to connect the receiver to the TV via HDMI. There are some wireless HDMI transmitters that would also send this HD signal to a 2nd TV but that will not be via coax.
