wind shield washer in toilet
someone told us .. the rv guy.. if our mh is winterized we can use the holding tanks if we put in windshield washer fluid??

I won't mention the MSDS on rv antifreeze again because nobody reads them except farmers and ranchers that spray insecticide. However, rv antifreeze is not extremely poisonous. i.e. it won't kill you if you drink it. It only causes nerve damage.
Even though my tanks are heated I winterize and flush the toilet using rv antifreeze while on the road in cold weather. (below +10 degrees) I use bottled water for cooking. You never know when you may have a break down and or lose all heat in your RV. Many rv parks are closed in the winter so not easy to find a place to dump. Most people are only a few days from warm weather.
One RVer on this forum does use window washer fluid to flush his toilet. I have never tried it. I don't know how it mixes with rv antifreeze.
