Especially for a solo RVer,
this is what Ducato can do for the US market
What Winnebago has done w/ Ducato is superfluous (see any of the Sprinters)
We need an innovative return of the Rialta: The 6'7" interior height and Sprinter-wide Trend is no Rialta. - SkiMoreExplorerInteresting floor plan on the 23B and pretty big grey/black tanks on such a small RV. How is that loft bed? Seems like a great use of space.
- tatestExplorer IIIt is more like a replacement for the earlier Vista/Sunstar, rather than competition for the 2000 pound heavier Sprinter C's, or a reprise of the lower profile Rialta that had more limited facilities (e.g. telescoping wet bath).
Compared to 2000-2004 Vista/Sunstar, the Trend 23B floorplan has pretty much the same layout except there is now room for the bathroom to have a door rather than a curtain, and the overhead bed gets replaced by a pull-down loft. But there is an alternative floorplan with a bed on the floor, slightly different compromises.
I would consider it, depending on price and what I learn about actual performance of the V-6 Ram Promaster. The drivetrain does pretty well with minivans and large sedans, but they have GVWRs 3000 to 4000 pounds lighter. I'm always looking for a compact no-slide MH that is not so limited on living space as the Rialta or most B's. I like my current Winnebago, but it is a whole lot more house than I need to carry around, now that I'm alone. - DakzukiExplorer

Very interesting. Hopefully some good competition for the, IMO, over priced diesel Sprinter based MHs. It seems to be starting out significantly cheaper.
I've always liked the loft bed idea, but I've only seen it once in the old Safari Treks. Those things were about as aerodynamic as a parachute. This, on the other hand, looks a little more slippery.
Hope to hear more about it soon.

It's not competition for the Sprinter Cs really IMO. It's a gasser and smaller in size, weight, capacities.....and front wheel drive. There's an open spot in the market right there that is largely unserved....one that the Rialta used to serve. - eric1514ExplorerVery interesting.
