See the massive problem with that RV? The house door is on the wrong side for a right hand drive vehicle.
I wonder because they were originally designed LHD from Slovenia( Ex-Yugoslav Republic, drove past the Adria factory going from Slovenia to Croatia) - gerrym51Explorer II
- RobertRyanExplorerSkid Row Joe. That should be rent, I have used Transit/Mitsubishi based ones personally. Co-Drove an IVECO Daily based "Winnebago" with a friend and his wife. Prior to the rentals , I had a Ford Falcon based Truck Camper and Tents before that. Currently my RV is a 350 Tonne Airbus, that will take me home after this trip.

What motorhome brand and model do you own?
"Burlmart" currently touring Europe. The Winnebago Trend is extremely similar to the Australian Winnebago Eyre, except the local unit has a vastly better finish. Winnebago Australia is now AVIDA and won an appeal in our Supreme Court to call themselves "the builders of the Australian Winnebago". Anyway others in Europe build very similar units. Good to hear from you. Yes, we talked alot about the Eyre a few years back. It was this rig that taught me to think B+ = 'low-profile C class'. I do remember the lawsuit and that AU won.

Winnebago US et. al. have a ways to go to play catchup, don't they?
Have fun. - RobertRyanExplorer"Burlmart" currently touring Europe. The Winnebago Trend is extremely similar to the Australian Winnebago Eyre, except the local unit has a vastly better finish. Maybe I missed it, but what's your mpg like in your 2005 Trail Lite 213 B-Plus w/ 6.0 Chevy, burlmart? Upper-teens by any chance?
10-12, but basically, 11 mpg most of time.
If I had to guess, that lighter, more streamlined, front drive Ducato will likely do 15 mpg - mlts22ExplorerI'm idly wondering if we might see more Trend floorplans. The reason why Winnebago can't really imitate European stuff is the fact that European rigs use cassette toilets, and those can be placed anywhere there is a wall to have a hatch to yank the cassette out. US plans require limited placement of the toilet, as it has to be atop of the black tank.

The tight space seems odd - isn't this the size of Sprinter Cs?
The engind seems to have similar HP and torque as my 300 HP Chevy 6.0, and the Ducato has less 'stuff' between the engine block and the deive wheels - more direct is more efficient?
If so, this may be one zippy little rig
edit -- 10% lrss hp and 30% less twist (v8 vs v6) - DakzukiExplorer

Still waiting for the mpg claim of "upper-teens," was going to happen? I n otic e how everybody avoided explaining how it would actually get nearly 20 mpg? Ain't gonna happen with a fuel thirsty gasser and that much weight.
Those numbers come from the same folks that claim a V6 Sprinter class C can get similar fuel mileage.....dealers. You will see that in their on line ads Lichtsinn always qualifies the numbers as an estimate. I guess that's their "disclaimer".
The Mercedes-Benz turbodiesel Sprinter routinely gets in the mid-teens. Mid-teens is "14 to 16 mpg."
The guy here earlier claimed this Trend would get in the upper-teens. Upper-teens means; "18-19 mpg." There's no way those numbers are achievable.
FWIW, my Class C E450 7.3 PSD routinely gets in the low-teens; "10.5 to 11.5 mpg."
Yep. Not towing I am a pretty solid 15 MPG.
