Workhorse Recall & Damaged RV

How many times did you flush the brake fluid in the period you were having problems? This was a recommendation from WH from the very beginning. My first brake problem occured in a '89 E350 Ford so this was not just a WH problem. My mechanic at the time told me I should flush brake fluid regular, in a vehicle that doesn't get used as much, every 2 years. He said it is also recommended in our cars. He was a European and they have been requiring it there for years. I had the brake problem a couple of times but always detected a dragging brake long before I got to the fire point. When the recall was done they said everything was in good shape. I would not take my MH to Alaska during that period or take any long trips and now our health prevents it so we did lose out on that. I have just had my brake fluid flushed again for the second time since the recall was done and will continue every 2 years on that schedule. Since the recall our MH has been the best we have ever had. I am sorry we lost out on a couple of years with long vacations but very happy with it today.
