Talk about a lot of nothing!
It is pretty obvious that the Commercial Pumps are for Commercial Vehicles and the Regular Pumps are for Non Commercial Vehicles.
Now it turns out that the fellow who was ticketed was driving a Toterhome that may have been carrying multiple other vehicles which may have been owned by a corporation or enterprise so technically it was a Commercial Vehicle . Apparently if the Vehicle has any Decals that promote Racing,OffRoad or otherwise or carries a Sponsors Logo or Advertising ,it is considered a Commercial Vehicle and must be registered as such.
Im sure that if the ticketed party does go to court and proves that He was not engaged in a commercial activity He will be exonerated !
For the rest of Us driving Motorhomes that are heavier than 26,000 Lbs CGVW who are duly licensed as non Commercial Vehicles, there is nothing to worry about!
Sounds like you are correct. Yes some of us in here, including myself, thought the tickets were issued to somebody with a three axle Class A DP. So now we're seeing that isn't the case. But what is funny is there are only a couple of us who were saying the law should not be applied to Class DP's. The vast majority if everybody else in this discussion was telling how simple the law was and how of course it applied to all motorhomes and how those of us who didn't think that was correct are arrogant and can't read. Well look who was right in the end,
