Just a couple of tips on the NuWave learning curve.
1. When you set a temperature, the NuWave uses the temperature of the bottom of the pan to control the heat. It's easy to think that the temperature setting is for the food in the pan itself. In a short time pan contents will get close to the pan temperature, but when first set they will be different.
2. If the pan is removed from the cooking eye, an E1 error will be generated and all heating will stop. This will occur in situations like flipping eggs.
If you get the E1 error, you can press the start button to continue, but Nuwave has provided a better function. The off button is labeled Pause/Clear. It operates on two pushes.
The first push will pause the heating and leave the temperature setting flashing. If you want to remove the pot, do some function, and return to cooking, just push the Pause/Clear button once, do your function, press the start button and you will be returned to the original condition of temperature and timer settings.
Push the Pause/Clear button twice and the unit turns off.
Good Luck!
