Induction cooktop...NuWave, etc.???

I am thinking about buying a portable cooktop...if you have one, please share the brand and pros & cons....
  • Nothing major special about the cookware. Bottom of pan just needs to be magnetic. Just take a fridge magnet and see if it sticks to your hardware and you are good to go. We have about half our pots and pans were ok when we got ours so lots of cookware to use.If you need to go shopping just look for the induction compatible sign or stick your fridge magnet to the bottoms and see what works.
  • Keep in mind they take special cookware to cook on them.
  • Make sure you check the reviews on the NuWave2. It is new version that has bug fixes etc. Just got one and we have been running the heck out of it the last few days and works great. There were issues on version 1 as you see in a lot of new launched products. Make sure it has a 2 on the box and you will have the new design.
