Cobb Grill Owners

Dear Cobb Grill Fans. today is a sad day for Cobb lovers. Unfortunately after 10 years in the North America, we are officially closing down our US sales office and CobbQ.com. Hopes are that Cobb will return to North America at some point in the future.

We do have a number of accessory items left in stock at drastically reduced prices. Please see www.cobbq.com for details - Unfortunately this is all we have left and the site will be closing down at the end of October, so please place any orders before then.     We bought one and finally gave it to Good Will. Just couldn't get any heat out of it. Definitely not my cup of tea.

    They have them on Amazon for $109 with free shipping. We like ours so well, I purchased a second to have for larger meals, or parts, which ever is needed. The accessories are expensive but heavy duty.

    I got may first one from Woot, for 50% off, and a coupon for 50% off all the accessories. Since we have all the accessories, I figured I could keep this grill going as long as we would be grilling. terry

    Mine is a little dusty. I suppose I haven't put enough effort in to it? The hamburgers from it just don't match those kissed by fire. Chicken isn't bad, but baking? I bought an Imusa pot just to make cobbler on the Cobb, but I could never get it hot enough. it just hasn't been versatile enough for me, but maybe I'm doing something wrong?
    It will never replace my Q120, never! For charcoal I use the base from my one story Brinkman. Between the Brinkman, the Weber and a couple of Dutch ovens there isn't much I can't bake, grill or smoke.

    Weber Q owner here, and can tell you the Cobb grill's one of the best little grills ever made. Probably victim to the cheap Chinese junk that folks can't distinguish. Too bad, 1,000s of happy Cobb owners out there.

    Sad to see this little grill go, but thrilled I bought one last year. I have 8 outdoor cooking "devices" and this one is my favorite for camping. I gave away my Weber Q100 to make room for this in my camper.

    I know lots of folks love the Weber Q, but I can't cook a whole chicken on the Weber. Also on the Cobb, I can do a whole pork butt for BBQ pulled pork.

    Gas just doesn't add the flavor that charcoal does.

    Good for baking bread when you don't have an oven. With shipping costs, the items are pretty pricey, still.

    I can do 2 nice steaks and 2 baked potatoes at a time. Yes its small...we only use this grill when traveling Baja with off-road tent trailer.
    I also have the griddle and wok for it. We like it.
