I have used mine for several years on my 5th wheel quick connect. I just cut the regulator off very close to the regulator. I then cut the hose off and slipped it over the tubing left on the gas connection to the grill. A hose clamp holds it in place. The propane is under low pressure and have never had a leak from the connection.
