- SWMOExplorerI always liked it best when it was used in a grilled cheese, kind of a grilled cheese/bologna sandwich.

Who would waste good bologna on flies? - DakzukiExplorer IILeave it out for a while so it gets kind of gamey, then put a bunch in a mesh bag. Tie it in a crab pot and go get some dungees for a real meal.
- BajaLindaExplorerI used to fix a baloney sandwich on plain ol white bread, with mayo lettuce and tomato slices. Pickles and chips on the side. I loved it and so did my daughter.
- FizzExplorerWhen I was younger, hunting with my Dad all he would bring for lunch was baloney and tea. All he carried was an old juice can on a wire for making tea and two nails.
He would get the water going then nail two thick slices of baloney to a couple of sticks and stand them near the fire. When the water was boiling and the meat was cooked he would slap two slices of bread to the can. They would stick and toast on one side only.
Most of it was over cooked but tasted great. - HeeHawHoneyExplorerI had to kind of giggle at the number of folks who like their bologna almost burned. That's the way I like mine too. Heck, if there's even a few black spots, that's fine by me too. It sure is good fried and on a sandwich with cheese and a lot of plain old yellow mustard. There's not much else to do with bologna as far as I know.
- JiminDenverExplorer III worked in a grocery as a kid and the Boloney we sliced up there made the stuff in the packages taste like garbage. We also had ring boloney and my favorite, pickled. I'll have to see if I can't find a good deli and try some of these recipes.
- Lindz50371ExplorerHow about bologna roll ups,
Add hummus, cream cheese, mayo, mustard, etc.
Add lettuce, veggies, peppers etc.
Roll up! - FishermanExplorerI can't believe you still eat that stuff. Leave some out in the open and see if any flies come by for a taste.
